Empire of the Sun son un dúo de música electrónica conformado por Luke Steele (The Sleepy Jackson) y Nick Littlemore (PNAU). El nombre esta inspirado  en la novela del escritor J.G. Ballard

Su propuesta esta llena de  sintetizadores, guitarras y sampleos, con un estilo muy comparado a los MGMT (Pero para mi en lo particular Empire of Sun me agrada a sobremanera musicalmente y en el aspecto de las letras). Es obvio realizar las comparaciones… un dueto… vestimentas muy lochochonas… en fin.
