Olvídense de una vez por todas de Thing Things!!!  Ha llegado a la escena musical Thunderheist.  Importados directamente de Canadá, este dueto hará mover el “booty” frenéticamente y sin parar. Simplemente a mi me encantaron.  Formado por la originaria de Nigeria Isis en las voces y el DJ Grahm Zill. Empezando a moverse por la blogsfera, este dueto ha compartido escenario con bandas como Girl Talk, Cristal Castles y Plastic Little.

Cantante, Compositora, Productora, Artista Visual, Activista Política… todo eso es M.I.A originaria de SriLanka. Su música tiene una gran mezcla de generos danzables con bases “dance-hall”.

Es muy conocida por todos, pero hoy la pongo en este espacio, pues ayer salio la noticia que esta Señorita se retira de los escenarios, dando la revelación durante su presentación en Bonaroo 2008 como que puede se pudo haber interpretado a extremos, probablemente se va grabar su nueva producción. No lo sabemos…

While onstage at the Bonnaroo Festival over the weekend she announced: “This is my last show, and I’m glad I’m spending it with all my hippies.”

According to the New York Times, she repeated that it was her last show three times, and said “thanks for coming to my last gig,” before leaving the stage.

The rapper, whose real name is Mathangi Maya Arulpragasam has a tendency to break news during her live sets, and even announced her engagement to Benjamin Brewer during a performance in Canada last month.
